Department of Management ( Business Management)
The BBA department established in 2010-11.The department of BBA is supervised by the head of the department of Home Science Dr. Kalika Doulas. Now it is supervised by head of the department Hindi Dr .G.L Jain. The Management department is working from previous session in the year 2010-11 it is started by under self financed scheme.
The department teaches management courses as compulsory subjects and as optional subjects on graduation level with foundation courses from 2018-19 onwards.
The courses offered by the department are BBA. The department worked with two guest faculties. Now it has four guest faculties .This subject was started to bring about personality development of all students drawn from the urban rural and the backwards status of the district. The Professional course normally incorporates
both general business study programmes and higher level study programmes for particular concentrations. The BBA program has been planned to offer comprehensive awareness about the operational domains of an organizational and also their depent ancillaries .At the same time, the same course offers specialization in a particular domain. In this way, a BBA study course in India offers plenty of exposure to the students with regard to arrange of a” Core Subjects”.
The biggest advantage of studying a BBA courses in India is that its permits the students ton do specialization in particular subject or field. Management Department always motivates the students to prepare themselves for further management studies so that they become independent in their life. Department always emphasize students to gain knowledge of various areas of management. The faculty of the department is competent to use bilingual teaching to address languages challenges of the students. The department id helping students gain the advance knowledge about Management and basic research culture.
To uproot the problems of unemployment job oriented project works on graduation level and research oriented project on post graduate level. It proved beneficial to some extent.
Current scenario of BBA in India
A BBA degree helps improve the communication skills, Managerial skills and Business decision making skills in a student .A considerable number of BBA study courses in India therefore includes on experience and guidance as case studies, demonstration, industrial tours, internship and communication with specialists of the industry.
The BBA degree offers opportunity of acquiring specialized knowledge on business management to the students. Students get the chance to learn about marketing ,local and international (Global) business, Finance ,Information system ,Human Resource Management tourism and insurance.
After completing BBA successfully, students can get jobs in sectors like FMCG and consumer durable industry(P&G,HUL, Marico), Consultancy, Banking Finance (HSBC, Citibank),information technology companies(Wipro, Infosys, Compaq, Microsoft),advertising agencies(Lintas, JWT ,O&M, Mudra, Leo Burnett) and so on.
Faculty Profile-adequacy and Competency of faculty
Management is one of the eminent subject under graduate programme.The BBA course is begins in this college in 2010-11.The in charge of BBA department was Dr. Kalika Doulas. Now it is supervised by head of the department Hindi Dr .G.L Jain. The Management department has four guest faculties named Mrs Pooja Rathore, Miss Noorjahan Hashmi, Mr. Akbar Ali and Mrs Indu Mangroliya are competent to teach various streams of the course and fulfills all departmental requirements. They always motivates the students to prepare themselves to face competitive exams, Interviews and other competitions so that they become in dependent in their life. Management occupies pivot in business and in life in all countries management has recognized as an important aspect for running business, without it the proper management of business as not possible. To keep pace with progressive dynamic globalization this subject definitely provides an edge over other subject. In all six semester, there are papers to test the knowledge of the students.
A degree in business management prepares new for management positions and carrier path with in companies so that you can move up the corporate ladder. Additionally a business management degree can give skills you need to own, operate and expand your own business as well

The department is having 30 seats for BBA group. The students specially the girls who are not willing to be graduate from a co-ed college are getting admission in the college. As Sehore is surrounded by many villages, all villagers feel very convenient to send their daughters in a girl’s college

vStudent Profile-entry level competencies, socio-economic status, language proficiency etc.
Students are admitted strictly on merit bases. Students come from both urban and rural background, from low and middle income group. Students are mostly proficient in regional language. They also have workable knowledge of English. However, a large fraction come from remote areas and is generally weak at the basic level. Most of the student are coming from the nearby villages through bus and other local convince , the department also help the students by arranging the class time as the students can come from distance places also. Students from all communities take admission and behave in a very friendly manner. The department helps the students acquire as much management related information as required for the completation of their courses successfully.
- At present there are four teachers. They are adequate and competent.
- Students are selected for admission on the basis of their higher secondary result Many students come from remote villages . At the entry level they are generally not fluent in the language but they improve during the three years.
- The faculty is regularly involved in setting questions, moderation, and evaluation of the university examination.
- During the last five years pass percentage is 90%.
- Seminar and projects works are assigned to students.
- Students are divided into groups and are assigned to each faculty members to assess their academic progress and problems. Seminars are conducted for students.
- The faculty gives counseling, and conduct special classes from time to time.

Changes made in the courses or programs during the past two years and the contribution of the faculty to those changes
The Govt. Girls College is affiliated to Barkatullah University. Hence it under takes the courses is designed by the university for the undergraduate programmes. However the faculty members deigned their respective teaching plan and supply split-up syllabus to the students to the entire session considering to the departmental academic calendar. The university has changed the syllabus of BBA stream in 2016-17 year and again it changed in 2017-18 from semester system to yearly system.
Trends in the success and dropout rate of students during the past two years
The department has recorded 97% of success rate in U.G Programme.The Management department of the college has an ascending trend of quality education reflected in the results.In 2016 Miss Binish Siddiqui got first position in BBA final year.In 2017 miss Harshita Tiwari got first position in BBA and in 2018 miss Rukkaiya hussain got first position in BBA.
Learning resources of the department-Library, Computers laboratories and other resources
The main resource of learning is library of the college to prepare notes and the internet for presentation and other current information updates. Students use computer as learning resource in the library and computer lab. Library plays an eminent role as learning resources of the department. The faculty of the department also inspires students for the study of management magazines to enhance knowledge about management. Learning Resources of Govt. Girls. Modern teaching methods practiced and use of ICT in teaching/learning
ICT is a scientific, technological and engineering discipline and management technique used in handling information, its application and association with social, economic and cultural matters. ICT stands for information communication technologies. ICT is a part of our lives the last few decades effecting our society as well as individual life. ICT which is now broadly used in educational world. Teacher, Students, Admistrator and every people related to education are popularly used ICT. Teacher use ICT for making teaching learning process easy and interesting.
Every student is suggested to make her own E-mail ID on computer so they can use ICT learning. To remain update and to get subject knowledge, the facility of Internet is also provided to the students.
The department adopt various teaching methods but mostly the lectures and interaction method is used , apart from power point presentation is used. The objective questions are also asked while teaching at same time to increase the student involvement.
Participation of teachers in academic and personal counseling of students.
Whether you are a professor or instructor many students will look up to you. At that time you may find yourself in the position of counseling a student about matters beyond the scope of your official academic relationship. If you are ensure about the nature of the problem, you can help them .At the time of admission, the counseling program is held for the first year students and chance is given by the faculty to attend the classes of different subjects for few days and select the optional subject according to their interest and caliber. The students are guided about the various opportunities available throught the courses of the department so that they can decide according to their choice of career.

It has been long believed that the most important resource that any institution of higher education has its faculty members who teach knowledge and skills to the students integrating technology in to teaching, learning, and research and master new computer-based educational programs. The faculties of the department enhance knowledge through participating in seminars, workshops orientation and refreshers courses. The single faculty member of the department has participated in the above mentioned programs. The faculty has attended various seminars and conferences.

The carrier guidance cell of the college has the record of placement details of the students. The faculties of the department have been guiding the students about the various avenues of the job opportunities.

The department plans to increase the strength and also increase the number of faculties. The department also plans to get the latest journals and management magazines to help the students. Arranging conferences to discuss about the importance of Management in modern India. Arranging special lectures by the experts. Arranging some Industrial tour .
