SOCIOLOGY DEPARTMENT
In our college we have sociology as a subject from the year 1984 that is from the establishment year of college. With continuous growth in the number of registered students ........ students are registered in graduation at present.
Due to increasing interest, of students for this subject post graduation in Sociology has been started in the session 2018-19. we have thirty students in Moto and all allotted seats are filled.
we are providing library facility for the students for developing reading habits among students our department provide them books of profouned writers. We interchange knowledge of current topics through group discussion which increase awareness in the students. It can also help students to understand society better since it examines how the social world influence the way we think, feel and act.
There is one post of proffessor and two posts of assistant professor in our department. Dr. Sudha Lahoti is working as a proffessor and Dr. Smt. Archana Chauhan is working as a assistant proffessor and Dr Pratibha Soni is working as guest faculty.
